Wakf Board is a statuary body constituted under the Act to administered, controlled and managed the Wakf properties. The Wakf is the permanent dedication of any moveable or immoveable property which is pious , religious, or charitable. Charity is the dominant feature of a Wakf. The creator of a Wakf is called Wakif. The income of the Wakf Property is utilized for charity, assistance to the poor and needy, maintenance of the Mosque, Dargah, Graveyards, Khankah, educational institution, hospitals.
